NovaBench is a free netbook system benchmark software which offers essential benchmark tests. Usually system benchmark tools are not free and offers many complex tests. For normal users, free benchmarking tools offers the most essential ones, and NovaBench is one of those. Even the result page of the benchmark gives you just plain numbers.
NovaBench performs a series of tests for your netbook CPU, RAM, disk storage, etc and finally shows the score. You can save the results online (by creating an account) or on your system and compare it at a different stage. In a quick test, which takes about 1-2 minutes to complete, it benchmarks the CPU speed, system memory, graphics performance, and the write speed for your hard drive. Once it’s all done, you can take a look at those numbers, and even compare them with the results online.
NovaBench is a free download available for Windows (Windows XP and higher). A Mac (OS X 10.5 and later) version is also available for download.
